Hello everyone,
Before telling you about today I will shortly update you about the Italian liberation day yesterday. Yesterday we went to the beach house owned by my host family and also the brothers and father of my host were there. We had a fun and relaxing day and made a walk through the village there.
Today we continued again on the data acquisition and analysis. We went in further depth using the software that we use and encountered some major difficulties. There were some important errors that we could not find a solution to for a long time, so we decided to take a break and have a look at the laboratory of the university. In the lab a PhD student explained the project that she was working on and this was very interesting to me as this project was a more practical implication of the software we use in the office. The project she was working on had been going on since 2015 and she was going to continue it till the end of her PhD in about 3 years (she started her PhD this December when the project was already busy). After her interesting story and explanation we went back to the office to again work on our problems we had encountered earlier. We continued to have some difficulties with these problems but eventually we solved them for the most part leaving us with a successful conclusion of the third day.
I will update and conclude on the internship tomorrow, my last day,
